Welcome to Southfield Veterinary Centre

As offering first class care for all your pets is our aim, we adopt a holistic approach to Veterinary care. We provide many services which offer a comprehensive and complete approach to animal care. Led by our extremely experienced team of veterinary surgeons, we offer an exceptionally high level of consultations and an extensive range of treatments and services.

We offer appointments from 8:10am until 6:30pm to give owners maximum choice. In addition,  the same team of vets and nurses cover a 24-hour emergency service ensuring that you receive continuity of service from us. The practice has a fully equipped pharmacy so that the majority of these treatments can be dispensed at the time of consultation for your convenience.

In order to make your visit as stress-free and comfortable as possible, we provide six spacious consulting rooms and have separate dog and cat sections in our large waiting area.

We pride ourselves in offering our clients more than the average practice. Our central location in Dorchester, ample parking facilities and wide range of pet supplies help us to achieve this.

Why choose us?

We offer a comprehensive range of services aimed at keeping your pets healthy and well looked after.  Our on-site specialist facilities in Dorchester allow us to cater for almost any eventuality.

Important Information

We aim to provide all the information you need to make an informed decision. As an established practice, we have experience of almost every pet related issue and have the information to put your mind at ease.

Contact us

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about your pet, need to visit us or have an emergency. While we are happy to give telephone advice, it is always preferable for us to see your pet. Different conditions often share similar signs and without a full clinical examination it can be hard to distinguish between them.

We are able to make house calls if requested. However, we would like to make you aware that if seen at the practice we have better resources to hand with which to make a full examination and administer treatment to your animal. All the details you need to get in touch with us can be found below or by visiting our contact page.
