After nine months we have at last got there…the building work is finally finished.

Our water walker has arrived in our hydrotherapy unit and Caroline Drysdale our qualified hydrotherapist is now operating this service. Caroline also offers canine massage sessions.

Our dog groomer Beverley Gilmour has started. Beverley has been a level 3 qualified groomer for many years with experience of working with all breeds of dogs. Beverley offers a range of services that include clipping, bathing, trimming, hand stripping, nail clips, ears and teeth cleaning.

Some of you may have already met our physiotherapist Elizabeth Jones as she has visited Southfield Veterinary Centre for some years. Lizzie will be based at Southfield much more now and therefore will be far more part of the Southfield team then she has been so far.

We are hoping that not only will we have a brand new premises but also that shortly we will becoming a Veterinary Hospital. The only one in the area. This will not change the way you get your services from us but should mean that we can offer more. For instance, since the 12th March we have had and will continue to have staff on the premises who are available 24 hours per day.

We are having a grand opening on 20th May when Lord and Lady Fellowes
will officially ‘Launch’ the new practice. Wessex FM will also be a part of the event with music, competitions and some surprises. We hope that you like the new changes an would love to hear from you and please come along from 1.00pm on the 20th and have a look around if you haven’t already.
